At the North Pole Santa and his helpers are very busy. They have to read all our letters, pack all the presents and deliver them to all the good children.
This year Santa decided to use the latest technology to help deliver the presents faster and get home in time for a cuppa tea and a mince pie.
He got in touch with ourselves at Matmi's MagicLabs and asked if we could build a super fancy augmented reality packing system, which would allow us to help Santa pack his sleigh from anywhere in the world.
Santa like many clients had unrealistic time to make the magic happen. We have to make this magical app in 10 days. Some of the Matmi / MagicLabs team did not think it was possible and neither did Santa but I knew that as Christmas is a time for magic anything is possible, so a 10-day hackathon commenced.
So it may be a bit rough around the edges but it is some pretty cool tech. We are hoping Santa gives us a bit more time to polish for next year.
